Meet my Team, the Bread Breakers!

Hola! I wanted to introduce you all to my team because, WOW, I love them!   These girls are beautiful, bold and pleasing to the Lord in so many ways!

(While our squad is made up of forty-two persons, we are divided into smaller teams for the purpose of daily team time, communion, and added intimacy.)

As a team, we decided we would be called the Bread Breakers based on Acts 2:46-47:

"And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved."

Meet the Bread Breakers (AKA the "Breaddy-Buddies"):

BRE (Our Fearless Team Lead):

Breanne is our brave and beautiful team lead, and she is absolutely phenomenal.  She makes wise executive decisions by considerately taking every opinion with weight and thoughtfulness.  She is also an insanely talented photographer and artist!  I love how she uses this incredible gift God has given her to bring glory to the father and allow people to see themselves through her photographs in the beautiful ways that God sees them.  I am honored to be partnered with her in ministry, and I am so grateful to call her my dear friend.  She is like Jesus in her leadership, humility and gentleness.

KACI:

Kaci is such a comfort to have on our team! She is bold and sociable; she is always inclusive of others and loves being around people.  Kaci is a very loyal friend and is helpful toward others.  She also has a heart for children's ministry!  One of my favorite things I've seen in Kaci is her willingness to be vulnerable, thus inviting the rest of us to bring vulnerability to the group.  She is always willing to share her heart, her thoughts, her material things, and her knowledge.  Much like Jesus, she is so incredibly generous and caring.

JULES:

Wow, Julianna.  What a kind soul!  I see Jesus in Jules every single day.  No matter the issue/adventure/challenge, Julianna is standing in the group with a smile on her face and ready to take on whatever is laid out before us.  I have seen her willingly and excitedly accept jobs no one wanted to take on and serve in ways that may never be acknowledged by humans.  I know our father sees all that she does and all the hardwork she puts in with such a joyful spirit!  Jules is always looking out for everyone else and serving people before herself.  She is so like Jesus in her diligence, happy spirit (wow, that smile of yours is so contagious, my friend), and her selflessness.  Love you, Jules!!

COURT:

Courtney is altogether too cool, and I love her so much.  She brings authenticity to our team in the best ways you could ever imagine.  Court is so kind, so real, literally SO FUN, totally hilarious (she makes me bust out in actual laughter at least five times a day), and she is a safe space for us to share the deep cares and concerns of our hearts. Courtney has been a beautiful friend to me in the best of ways.  She is so intentional, present, and deep.  I am astounded by Court in how she is like Jesus--she brings an incredibly wise perspective to the table while remaining in a constant child-like state of wonder.  It's beyond lovely to witness, and I know God is so proud to call her his rare and beautiful daughter.

KEL:

Oh, my dear sister in Christ, Kelsey Corns-- What a blessing you are beyond measure! Kelsey is a rare treasure, like that of a pearl, refined and made more beautiful each day by the Father.  She is filled with the Spirit of God through and through, and she overflows with the abundant joy of Jesus that the people who are in her presence can't help but receive the goodness overflowing and pouring out of her heart!  I can't think of a moment when Kel has not reflected the love of Christ; she is always joyful, always full of love, and is always speaking the Word of God to others in the most loving and generous ways.  She is an incredible servant who always gives credit to the Lord for each and every gift from above.  Her heart is pure and full of understanding for all people.  She is like Jesus in how she loves beyond understanding and how she speaks Truth.  I am so grateful to Jesus for your heart, Kel; I love you, sister!

CAMI (Our Totally-Super Squad Mentor):

How did we get so blessed to get Cami??  Cam is SO COOL.  She is so loving, accepting, attentive, inclusive, supportive and sweet!!  There are a million positive words to describe Cami, but I'll condense as best I can.  Cami is filled with the Holy Spirit in such a evident way, and her heart for the Lord and for people is MASSIVE.  Her relatioship with Jesus is rooted deeply within her heart and is an indication of her intimate intentional time with him over the course of her lifetime.  I can see how much the Lord is enamoured with Cami; he wants only the best for his beloved daughter.  I see Jesus within Cam in so many ways, but one of my favorite things is her humble, loving leadership through her servanthood and kind attentiveness.

I love my team-sisters so much; may we always break bread together in communion with Jesus!
